Veterans, families, and friends gathered on Friday, October 25, under the dome of the Missouri Capitol Rotunda for the induction of General Omar Bradley into the Missouri Veterans Hall of Fame.
“It is important to recognize the courage and sacrifice of those who have served our nation, both at home and abroad, as well as the contributions and the legacy they leave behind,” Lieutenant Governor Kehoe said. “The Missouri Veterans Hall of Fame does an exceptional job honoring our nation’s heroes and recognizing the contributions the 2024 Class has made to our communities and our country.”
LTC Walt Lantzy, U.S. Army (Retired), and Sarah Graff of the General Omar Bradley Memorial, Library, and Museum Board of Directors accepted the medal and certificate on behalf of General Bradley.
The Missouri Veterans Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization incorporated under the laws of Missouri, established in 2019 by veterans from across the state. For more information, please visit the MVHoF website.
“It is a tremendous honor to attend and accept on behalf of the entire Board of General Bradley Inc. We all work to honor the accomplishments and sacrifices of General Bradley as well as promote his legacy. I think today was very successful in that regard,” said Graff.
Board members from Moberly, Columbia, and Jefferson City held a luncheon with other “Brad fans” before proceeding to the Capitol.
